FISH, STAT FISH Panel + Chromosome Analysis

Test Description:
STAT FISH PANEL + Chromosome Analysis (Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization) is offered with chromosome analysis for diagnostic evaluation on newborn blood using uncultured peripheral blood to detect numerical abnormalities involving chromosomes 13, 18, 21, X and Y.

Specimen Requirements:
Whole blood in sodium heparin (green top) tube, minimum 1-2 ml

Shipping: Samples should be received on day of collection. Keep specimens at room temperature.
