- Dr. Escobar received his undergraduate degree from Fordham University and his MD from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed his residency training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Since 2013, Dr. Escobar has been an attending physician at the Mount Sinai Visiting Doctors Program. He is currently a clinical instructor in the Division of General Internal Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device and biotechnology companies to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs.
