Forensic work in the courts with families going through divorce, Neuropsychological evaluations and treatment, Use of guided visualization and hypnosis for treatment of pain management, extreme stress and anxiety.
Basic Research Interest:
Cognitive development of children with particular emphasis on development of effective educational intervention strategies
Applied Research Interest:
Socio-emotional development of children and parent-child relationships with emphasis on families, particularly where divorce, separation and/or loss are involved.
Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device and biotechnology companies to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs. In order to promote an ethical and transparent environment for conducting research, providing clinical care and teaching, Mount Sinai requires that salaried faculty inform the School of their relationships with such companies.
