Biography
- Dr. Denise Nassisi is Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine working clinically at The Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Nassisi is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha and a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. She serves as a member of the MSSM IRB and has experience conducting clinical trials. She is a contributor to the National Board of Medical Examiners licensing exam and serves as a reviewer for the Empire Clinical Research Investigator Program. Dr. Nassisi is heading our department's initiative to develop evidence based practice guidelines. Her areas of interest include cardiovascular and neurologic emergencies, geriatrics and public health.
