Biography

    Dr. Lin, a cum laude graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine and elected member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, where he served as chief resident.  Following residency, he completed a Fellowship in Sleep Surgery at the Stanford University Medical Center in conjunction with Dr. Robert Riley and Dr. Nelson Powell of the California Sleep Institute.

    A Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology, Dr. Lin is an expert in all aspects related to the surgical treatment of sleep apnea and snoring, and has been named the Director of the Mount Sinai Sleep Surgery Center.  His clinical interests include general otolaryngology, allergy and rhinology, and sleep surgery.

Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device and biotechnology companies to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs. In order to promote an ethical and transparent environment for conducting research, providing clinical care and teaching, Mount Sinai requires that salaried faculty inform the School of their relationships with such companies.
