Biography

I am a board-certified surgeon and Clinical Instructor of Surgery with more than 25 years of experience. In 2010, I was chosen as the Physician of the Year at Mount Sinai Queens for providing excellent surgical care.

I perform general and laparoscopic surgery, specializing in gall bladder disease, breast disease and hernia surgery.

I am very dedicated to my patients, listening to their concerns and helping them to understand their conditions and treatment options. We are partners in their treatment and it’s my job to make them as aware and informed as possible.

I speak English and Spanish and can understand Portuguese and Italian.

Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device and biotechnology companies to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs.
