Biography
- Dr. Silverman is an allergy and immunology specialist who focuses her practice on pediatric and adult allergy evaluation and management as well as immune deficiency evaluation. Some of the conditions she evaluates and treats include asthma, hay fever, eczema, sinus issues, hives, and allergies to foods, insects and drugs.
She graduated with a master’s degree in public health from the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health and received her medical degree from Rush Medical College.
Dr. Silverman is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the New York Allergy and Asthma Society. She has presented at regional and national conferences on issues related to primary immunodeficiency.
Prior to joining Mount Sinai Doctors-Brooklyn Heights Medical Group in February 2013, Dr. Silverman was in private practice since 2008. She is an associate physician with Icahn Medical School at Mount Sinai.
