The baccalaureate degree program in nursing at Mount Sinai Phillips School of Nursing is accredited by the Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The baccalaureate program received full accreditation for 10 years by the Commission on CCNE, effective March 15, 2021 through December 31, 2031.

Mount Sinai Phillips School of Nursing's accreditation status is Candidate for Accreditation. The Commission's most recent action on the institution's accreditation status on March 9, 2023 was to grant Candidate for Accreditation status. MSCHE is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education to conduct accreditation and pre-accreditation (candidate status) activities for institutions of higher education including distance, correspondence education, and direct assessment programs offered at those institutions. The Commission's geographic area of accrediting activities is throughout the United States.
