Benjamin Salter, D.O. is an Assistant Professor in Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Currently, Benjamin is the Program Director for the Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.


Benjamin has always been interested in education and has taught workshops on transesophageal echocardiography, transthoracic echocardiography and regional anesthesia for cardiac surgical procedures at several national and international anesthesiology meetings. He also created and implemented the resident OSCE simulation curriculum for Mount Sinai’s Department of Anesthesiology.
