Dr. Glen B Chun has served as the Clinical Director of the Mount Sinai National Jewish Respiratory Institute since 2020. He received his medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine. He then went on to complete his Internal Medicine Residency at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson where he was awarded the Robert S. Pinals, M.D. Humanism and Professionalism Award. He then went on to complete his Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai where he served as Chief Fellow during his final year of training. During his training at Mount Sinai, he was awarded the Housestaff Teaching Award and was the co-recipient of the Alvin S. Teirstein, M.D. Fellow Award for excellence in clinical practice and teaching and in research. As an attending physician, Dr. Chun has won multiple Teaching awards, was named on the Super Doctors Rising stars list and has been named a Castle Connolly NY Top Doctor since 2020.
