Dr. Jacqueline E. Tamis-Holland is an interventional cardiologist and the Program Director for the Mount Sinai Saint Luke’s Interventional Cardiology Fellowship and the Mount Sinai Saint Luke’s-Bronxcare General Cardiology Fellowship.    Dr Tamis-Holland is a member of the American College of Cardiology-American Heart Association’s Task Force for Clinical Practice Guidelines and a member of the New York State Cardiac Advisory Committee. She is Vice Chair of the writing committee for the American College of Cardiology-American Heart Association’s “Guidelines for Coronary Revascularization”. Dr Tamis-Holland also serves as Chair of the Academic Council of the American College of Cardiology and Chair of the Interventional Cardiovascular Care Committee of the Council on Clinical Cardiology for the American Heart Association. She was on the rating panel for the most recently published Appropriate Use Criteria for Coronary Revascularization in Acute Coronary Syndromes and Stable Ischemic Heart Disease. She is the proud recipient of the “Michael Lesch Teaching Award in Cardiology”, as well as the American Heart Association’s “Luminary with Heart” award and the American Heart Association’s “Heart of Our Mission” award.    Dr Tamis-Holland holds a post as Associate Professor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital. She has lectured extensively on topics related to coronary artery disease at local, national and international cardiology meetings and has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. Her research interests include acute coronary syndromes, and women and heart disease.
