Jessica Reid-Adam, MD, is an Associate Professor in the Division of Pediatric Nephrology and Hypertension and Associate Professor of Medical Education, and the Associate Director for Diversity Initiatives in the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital. She is also the Pediatric Residency Program Director. She is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Nephrology In addition, she is a part of the Pediatric Liver Metabolic Transplant Program, that treats pediatric patients with inherited disorders of metabolism. The group consists of doctors and specialists from the Division of Medical Genetics and Genomics, the Recanati Miller Transplantation Institute (RMTI), the Division of Pediatric Hepatology, and the Division of Pediatric Nephrology and Hypertension.
Dr. Reid-Adam is a graduate of Rutgers – New Jersey Medical School, and completed her Pediatric residency training as well as a clinical and research fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology at The Mount Sinai Hospital, where her research interests focused on transplant immunology. In addition to treating patients with renal disease and hypertension, and her involvement in the medical school, Dr. Reid-Adam serves as a trainer in Unconscious Bias for the Mount Sinai Healthcare System.
Dr. Reid-Adam serves as an editorial board member on the Education Committee of the American Society of Pediatric Nephrology and also serves as an Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai representative for the AAMC Council of Faculty and Academic Societies. She was appointed Pediatric Residency Program Director in 2019.
