Dr. Ravi Katari studied Biomedical Engineering and Philosophy at the University of Virginia before attending medical school at Wake Forest School of Medicine, graduating in 2016. He has authored or co-authored over 30 published scientific articles or book chapters on various topics including global health, regenerative medicine, and health policy. As a resident he was heavily involved in multiple committees and groups within hospital administration to improve patient safety, physician wellness, and ethical standards.

Dr. Katari is also a senior research fellow at the Center for Economic and Policy Research, a leading progressive think tank in Washington D.C. His current research focus is the role of private equity in healthcare.
