The Center for Personalized Cancer Therapeutics
The Center for Personalized Cancer Therapeutics is an innovative, experimental approach to identifying cancer therapies for patients with thyroid cancer and colorectal cancer. Patient tumor DNA is analyzed to identify gene changes that drive tumor progression; this information is then modeled in the fruit fly Drosophila, and robotics-based screening is used to identify candidate therapies. Our goal is assess a more personalized approach to cancer treatment.
