What Else Should I Know?
Interviews are mandatory. We only accept applicants who have graduated from an accredited college of pharmacy and are eligible for licensure in New York. While you can take the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination and Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination exams any time after graduation, the New York State Written and Practical (Compounding) exam is offered in June and January only. Alternatively, the Part III examination can be given on-site at the discretion of the Pharmacy Residency Director. The applicant must plan to pass all three exams by September of the residency year.
