Training Areas

The Postgraduate Year 1 (PGY-1) pharmacy residency program at Mount Sinai Brooklyn is an accredited program with the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Currently, the program offers two PGY-1 pharmacy residency positions.

The department’s philosophy upholds the concept of “pharmaceutical care,” which recognizes the pharmacist’s contribution to patient care. The 12-month diverse program, beginning July 1, offers the residents opportunities to become involved in many areas of clinical practice.

We are committed to the provision of outstanding postgraduate residency training. The program provides experience in the clinical, administration, information technology, and academic fields.
