Master’s Degree Programs

Master’s programs at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences focus on basic, clinical, and applied science, along with public health, management, and leadership training. Students graduate from Icahn Mount Sinai ready to conduct research and translate findings into practice and policy. Our faculty are leading experts in their fields, giving you personalized support and the tools needed to become leaders in health care organizations, pharmaceutical companies, biotech companies, government agencies, and other institutions.

Our Programs

The Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences offers several, diverse master’s degree programs that combine a supportive learning environment with an interdisciplinary approach. Student experience a rigorous curriculum with access to the latest in technology, biodata, and health research and practice.

Master of Science in Biomedical Science

Students experience both MD and PhD coursework in the Program, while establishing an interdisciplinary foundation for a variety of biomedical fields.

Master of Public Health

With eight specialty tracks to choose from, the Master of Public Health program offers students extensive opportunities for bettering global health in a variety of roles and industries.

Master of Health Administration

The Program creates a class of qualified managers, ready to deliver superior care and outstanding value for their organizations and the populations they serve.

Master of Science in Clinical Research

The Program positions students to pursue legacy research by teaching them how to find funding, interpret data, and present findings.

Master of Science in Biomedical Data Science

Students in this program combine machine learning, computer systems, and data analysis to improve human health in the burgeoning field of biomedical data.

Master of Science in Biostatistics

Students learn to use innovative computational methods and data analysis to discover key trends, evaluate risks, design studies, test drugs, and more.

Master of Science in Epidemiology Program

A pervasive topic in today’s healthcare field, epidemiology thrusts students into the critical world of disease control.

Master of Science in Genetic Counseling

The Genetic Counseling Program trains ambitious students to uncover and understand the intricacies of genetic disorders and their impact on patients.

Master of Science in Bioethics

In partnership with regional institutions, the Bioethics program examines complex ethics in advanced medical care and challenges students to find effective solutions.
