How to Apply

The application deadline is January 7, 2025 and the application requirements include the following:

  • Letter of intent stating interest in residency at Mount Sinai Morningside and Mount Sinai West and career goals
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Official academic transcripts
  • Three letters of reference from members of the pharmacy profession. One letter must be from a clinical preceptor.

Submit all materials using ASHP’s Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application (PhORCAS)

Interviews

Interviews are mandatory. 

The applicant must be a graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy. Eligibility for licensure in New York is required. While it is encouraged that the NAPLEX and MPJE exams be taken by July, the applicant must plan to pass all two exams by October of his or her residency year. Compensation

Mount Sinai Morningside and Mount Sinai West offer residents a highly competitive compensation package. The compensation package includes medical, prescription, dental, and vision insurance. Residents will receive paid time off for conferences, vacation, holidays, and sick time. Residents will also be reimbursed for fees to professional organizations based on yearly travel budgets.
