Message From the Director

Choosing a fellowship is one of the most important decisions of your training. At the Neuromuscular Medicine Fellowship at The Mount Sinai Hospital, our goal is simple: to help you become the specialist you want to be.

Neuromuscular medicine is a field defined by complexity. The breadth of conditions we treat, the precision our diagnostic tools demand, and the pace at which new treatments are emerging make this one of the most compelling subspecialties in neurology. We designed this fellowship to put you at the center of it all. From longitudinal outpatient management to hands-on procedural training, every element of our curriculum is built to give you the clinical foundation and technical proficiency to enter independent practice with confidence.

What distinguishes our program is our faculty and the culture we have built. Our attendings are nationally recognized leaders in neuromuscular disease, ALS, neuromuscular ultrasound, and genetics. We believe training should be tailored to your strengths and your goals, not a mold you are expected to fit. You will be challenged, supported, and given the autonomy to develop your own clinical identity.
