  1. Residencies & Fellowship Programs

The Sleep Medicine Fellowship at The Mount Sinai Hospital trains physicians at a pivotal moment in the field. As sleep medicine expands its influence across neurology, cardiovascular disease, metabolic health, and psychiatry, the demand for academic leaders who can navigate this complexity has never been greater.

Our program is designed to meet that demand through a uniquely multidisciplinary approach. With faculty across pulmonary medicine, neurology, pediatrics, ENT, and behavioral sleep medicine, our curriculum creates a training environment where fellows develop both the clinical acumen and scholarly perspective required to advance the entire field.

By selecting only two applicants per year, we also offer a level of attention that allows each fellow to pursue their own personalized training path. Whether your goal is clinical excellence, research, or medical education leadership, our monthly schedule adjustments allow you to tailor your training to your own professional aspirations. Our fellows further benefit from protected research time, flexible elective rotations, and the option to extend their training for a second year through a multidisciplinary T32 grant.

At this pivotal moment in the field, the Sleep Medicine Fellowship at The Mount Sinai Hospital offers exceptional training at the forefront of academic sleep medicine. I invite you to envision yourself joining us in this critical work.
