Message from the Director

Welcome to the website of the Cardiology Fellowship Training Program at Mount Sinai St. Luke's and Mount Sinai West. Our website will acquaint you with our mission, our faculty, our training goals, a description of our clinical rotations and didactic programs, our research, and other unique features of our cardiology fellowship training program.

Our program is known for its academic prominence, for its large and internationally acclaimed full-time faculty, and for its depth of clinical training. Our program includes training at two very large NYC hospitals: Mount Sinai St. Luke's, located at 114th Street and Amsterdam Avenue, across the street from Columbia University, and Mount Sinai West, which is adjacent to Columbus Circle, at 59th Street and 10th Avenue. Both hospitals provide our fellows with a wealth of hands-on clinical experience. This clinical experience is enriched because the catchment areas of the two hospitals complement each other in socioeconomic and cultural make-up. Our high volume of procedures provides our fellows the opportunities to develop excellent procedure skills. Our outstanding didactic programs further insure that our trainees will become expert clinicians. Finally, the premier research and overarching academic mission of our program provide our fellows with the opportunity for highly mentored research opportunities and opportunities to create a strong foundation and path towards an academic career in Cardiology.

We hope that scrolling through our website will address all principal questions you may have about our program. If not, please do not hesitate to contact us to address your questions.
