Institute for Care Innovations at Home

The Institute for Care Innovations at Home was created in 2018 to research the fast-moving developments in home-based care, including hospital care, primary care, rehabilitation, and complex pediatric care in the home. Through our innovative partnership with Mount Sinai at Home, which provides advanced clinical services in the home, the Institute is able to draw upon the large and diverse patient base of the Mount Sinai Health System and gain insights that are immediately put into practice. As part of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, the Institute fosters a strong tradition of interdisciplinary collaboration, and accesses its extensive resources as a top-tier academic medical center to develop and validate new care models and extrapolate them to wider populations.
