User Scholarship Program

SBDRC is accepting applications for the User Scholarship Program. The goal of this program is to reduce cost barriers to high-end technologies and resources available from the SBDRC Resource Cores. Each user scholarship will be up to $5,000. We accept applications from internal and external SBDRC faculty members. Each user scholarship will be up to $5,000. To apply for a user scholarship, please provide a one-page (maximum) description of the project and the SBDRC technologies/resources that will be used; a budget and budget justification; NIH biosketch; and other NIH other. There is no deadline and applications will be accepted and reviewed monthly by the Executive Committee. We judge applications based on: (i) scientific merit; (ii) appropriateness for SBDRC core services; and (iii) demonstrated cost barrier. We notify applicants immediately so experiments can begin as soon as regulatory approvals are in place.
