The Division of Liver Diseases provides a rich educational environment for trainees at all levels, as well as for faculty and specialty practitioners. Several conferences held each week incorporate the most cutting edge basic, translational and clinical advances, journal clubs, as well as reviews of management challenges and difficult cases.
In addition, the Advanced Hepatology Fellowship is the largest in the United States, and boasts a broad offering of training experiences across the full spectrum of clinical and transplant hepatology, preparing trainees for leadership positions in the specialty throughout the world. Finally, 3 postgraduate CME courses each year complement these regular activities, providing superb educational programs to experts and practitioners throughout the NY Metropolitan Area.
