Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Student Chosen to Participate in International Ethics Program
Salina Bakshi accepted to highly competitive FASPE (Fellowships at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics)

Salina Bakshi, MD Candidate, Class of 2015, was selected from among 900 international applicants to participate in an intensive study of contemporary ethics during the summer of 2014. Ms. Bakshi will join a group of 48 fellows who will travel to New York, Poland, and Germany.
Run in conjunction with the Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York City, the 12-day program explores the history of the Holocaust as a way to engage graduate students from four specific fields (journalism, law, medicine, and religion). Students will participate in seminars and lectures that integrate historical, cultural, philosophical, and literary sources, and survivor testimony. They will take part in workshops in Berlin, Auschwitz, and Krakow.
