Applications

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai – Elmhurst program participates in the National Resident Match Program (NRMP) and the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Please check respective websites for detailed information.

Complete applications include:

  • ERAS Common Application Form
  • USME Step 1 (and/or equivalent COMLEX Level 1)
  • USMLE Step 2 (and/or equivalent COMLEX Level 2)
  • Three recommendation letters
  • MSPE (or Dean’s Letter)
  • Medical school transcript
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Personal Statement
  • ECFMG certificate, if applicable

Our selection and interview process commence in October and run through early February. After receipt of your completed application, the documents will be reviewed by the Residency Selection Committee. If selected, a formal invitation for interview will be sent. Interview days begins from 8:30 am until 4 pm. Our institution sponsors H and J visas if all prerequisites are met.

NOTE: All interview sessions will be held virtually. Details regarding the interview process will be emailed separately to selected applicants.
