The pediatric pulmonology fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai focuses on children with respiratory disorders. Based at Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital, our three year program provides comprehensive training with an emphasis on interventional flexible bronchoscopy and medically complex patients.
You will perform patient care for a variety of lung diseases throughout the program. Fellows train in various outpatient clinics including continuity clinic, cystic fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, and pediatric sleep medicine. We offer additional opportunities to work with more complex patients through the aerodigestive clinic. During the second and third year, trainees will have the opportunity to focus on scholarly activity through research, quality improvement and education. Our goals are to train excellent pulmonary clinicians, educators and scientists who can provide the full complement of pediatric pulmonary services to support the general respiratory health of the New York Metropolitan area and its diverse population.
