Here is some information that you might find useful as you consider applying to our program.
Eligibility: Candidates must possess a PharmD degree from a school of pharmacy approved by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE); have completed an ASHP‐accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy, Community Pharmacy or Managed Care Pharmacy residency; and be eligible for licensure in New York State.
Please note that licensure in NYS no longer requires completion of the Part III (compounding examination):
Program Duration: 12 months (7/1/2024- 6/30/2025)
Number of Positions: 2
Salary and Benefits: Competitive salary; benefits package that includes health insurance, vacation, and sick leave, paid holidays, travel support, stipend to attend professional meetings, and online library and computer privileges.
PhORCAS: Submit your application materials electronically via PhORCAS. Materials include a letter of intent, curriculum vitae, three references, and transcripts.
- Since many registrars’ offices have extended vacations for the winter holidays, you should ensure that you request your transcript early enough (we recommend before December) to allow ample time for it to be received and processed by Phorcas (which may take up to 2 weeks). Please note that our program requires an updated transcript to have been submitted through Phorcas after graduation (reflecting your completed academic work and attainment of your PharmD degree). The transcript you previously submitted in Phorcas when applying for PGY1 training will likely not be sufficient to meet this requirement.
Application Deadline: January 2, 2024
