At the Mount Sinai Health System, we aren’t just leaders in artificial intelligence (AI); we are leaders in making AI accountable and ensuring that every AI product earns its place in medicine. The Mount Sinai AI Assurance Lab sets the national standard for responsible AI in medicine and ensures that AI systems deployed in clinical care are rigorously validated, ethically sound, and measurably effective. The lab is sponsored by the Windreich Department of Artificial Intelligence and Human Health, the Hasso Plattner Institute for Digital Health at Mount Sinai, and Digital and Technology Partners, and catalyzed by ConduITS – The Institutes for Translational Sciences’ Clinical and Translational Science Award Program for the Mount Sinai Health System.
