DEPARTMENTS AND OFFICES

The Department of Graduate Education recognizes faculty who earn national and international honors for their contributions to biomedical education, mentoring, and scientific achievement. These distinctions reflect the impact of our faculty's work in advancing graduate education and training the next generation of biomedical scientists.

The Department of Graduate Education enthusiastically supports and nominates our faculty for a wide range of awards across the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, as well as for honors offered by national and international organizations. Our faculty consistently demonstrate excellence in research, education, mentorship, and service, and we take great pride in recognizing and advancing their achievements. They have been honored in numerous ways, both institutionally and by external organizations, reflecting the breadth of their impact and their sustained contributions to their fields. 

Faculty have been recognized with awards from the Institute for Medical Education as well as with the Jacobi Medallion and Mount Sinai Alumni awards. Our faculty have also been recognized by the National Academy of Medicine and the National Academy of Sciences for outstanding contributions to medicine and science.
