Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at The Mount Sinai Hospital and Elmhurst Hospital Center

The Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship is a three-year program offering comprehensive training across two distinctive campuses. Fellows gain experience at The Mount Sinai Hospital a quaternary referral center serving diverse populations at the intersection of East Harlem and the Upper East Side. The program also provides training at Elmhurst Hospital Center in Queens, part of the NYC Health + Hospitals network, which serves one of the most ethnically and linguistically diverse communities in the United States as a safety net hospital for underserved populations.

Both campuses deliver robust clinical and academic training opportunities for fellows. At The Mount Sinai Hospital, trainees engage in cardiovascular research and advanced cardiac clinical care through strong subspecialty rotations in advanced heart failure and transplant, electrophysiology, cardiac critical care, advanced cardiac imaging, and interventional cardiology. The experience at Elmhurst Hospital Center complements this training with exceptional hands-on clinical care in a community hospital setting. Together, these training environments prepare fellows to become outstanding clinicians, scholars, and leaders across all aspects of cardiovascular medicine.
