The Black Family Stem Cell Institute (BFSCI) offers a number of membership categories.
- Faculty Member: Full- and part-time faculty at the instructor, assistant professor, associate professor, and full professor levels
- Staff Member: Professional and technical staff members
- Trainee Member: Graduate students, post-doctoral research fellows, and residents

Membership in the BFSCI provides the opportunity to interact with a diverse team of basic scientists and translational and clinical researchers interested in stem cell biology and its applications in regenerative medicine. Application Materials and Process
Applications for BFSCI membership involve the following materials and steps:
- Please indicate which category of membership you are applying for
- Please provide NIH-style Biosketch and Other Support page
- Please provide a 1-2 paragraph statement of interest in stem cell research and/or regenerative medicine
