Ariel Cohen, LMSW, Social Worker
Ariel Cohen, Social Worker at the Deane Center for Wellness and Cognitive Health, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to provide support, education, counseling and resources to patients and their care partners. Ariel uses a personalized approach to meet patients and family members where they are and develop a trusting and long-lasting partnership in care. Prior to joining the Deane Center, Ariel was an inpatient social worker in Mount Sinai's brain injury rehabilitation program.
Navini Deoki, Administrative Assistant
Navini Deoki, Administrative Assistant at the Barbara and Maurice Deane Center for Wellness and Cognitive Health at Mount Sinai, responds to queries from patients or families and supports patients in preparing for their first and subsequent visits at the Deane Center for Wellness and Cognitive Health. She is also responsible for preparing patient letters, triaging patient appointments and coordinating referrals for The Deane Center for Wellness and Cognitive Health.
Emmanuel During, MD
Dr. During is Clinical Associate Professor of neurology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai with a dual appointment in the Department of Neurology – Division of Movement Disorders, and Department of Medicine – Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine. He trained in neurology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and psychiatry at Paris Diderot University, and completed a sleep medicine fellowship at the Stanford University. Dr. During studies and treats all sleep conditions associated with neurological disease, including sleep disturbances associated with neurodegenerative disease and normal aging, abnormal dreams or behaviors such as dream-enactment due to REM sleep behavior disorder, sleepwalking, sleep terrors (parasomnias), restless legs syndrome (RLS), abnormal daytime sleepiness due to narcolepsy or other hypersomnias, and disorders causing dysregulation of the sleep-wake control system (circadian disorders, insomnia).
Fanny Elahi, MD, DPhil
Fanny Elahi is a physician-scientist and Assistant Professor of Neurology, Neuroscience, and Pathology, Molecular and Cell-Based Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Elahi completed medical school and a doctorate in neurogenetics, residency in neurology, and fellowship in neurodegenerative disorders to gain multi-disciplinary domain knowledge, clinical, scientific and technical skills required to build a therapeutically-oriented translational research program in neurodegenerative diseases. Estevana Isaac, MD
Estevana Isaac, MD is an Assistant Professor in Behavioral Neurology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She completed her fellowship in cognitive and behavioral neurology at the University of Pennsylvania’s Memory Center and did her residency in neurology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. She is a Penn '12 graduate and went on to obtain her MD from Meharry Medical College where she had the opportunity to explore her interest in underserved and marginalized populations.

Dr. Sarah Levy is Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and a neuropsychologist at the Barbara and Maurice Deane Center for Wellness and Cognitive Health and the Corinne Goldsmith Dickinson Center for Multiple Sclerosis.
Faye Linker, LMSW
Faye Linker, social worker at the Deane Center for Wellness and Cognitive Health, works closely with the interdisciplinary team to identify areas in which she can offer support, education and counselling. Faye partners closely with patients and families to provide the support and resources patients and caregivers need to meet the goals set on their care plan.

Zainab is Executive Assistant to Dr. Georges Naasan (Clinical Director of the Barbara and Maurice Deane Center for Wellness and Cognitive Health) and assists patients and their families in scheduling an appointment at The Deane Center for Wellness and Cognitive Health.
Once the visit is scheduled, Zainab supports patients and families in preparing for their first visit to The Deane Center for Wellness and Cognitive Health, ensuring that the necessary paperwork is completed for a productive visit.
Sarah Wilkins, MSN, AGNPPC-BC
Sarah Wilkins, Nurse Practitioner (NP) at the Deane Center for Wellness and Cognitive Health, is board certified in providing adult and geriatric primary care and has several years of experience providing specialized care for patients living with dementia.
Sarah completed her nursing training at Duke University School of Nursing for both her RN and MSN degrees. She did her clinical training at Duke and the University of Virginia, focusing on neurological subspecialties. Sarah’s interests include providing care for patients living with dementia of all types and providing support and education to their caregivers.
At the Deane Center, Sarah evaluates new patients with cognitive and behavioral complaints alongside behavioral neurologists and neuropsychiatrists, as well as provides follow-up visits. In addition, she spearheads a behavioral management clinic alongside social worker Faye Linker.
