Cardiology Fellowship at Mount Sinai Morningside-BronxCare

The Cardiology Fellowship at Mount Sinai Morningside and BronxCare Health System is a three-year program offering a unique dual-site training experience that combines the advanced clinical resources of the Mount Sinai Health System with intimate, personalized education. At Mount Sinai Morningside, fellows gain expertise in cardiovascular care, including advanced imaging, complex arrhythmia management, structural and interventional cardiology, and mechanical circulatory support. The program's integration with BronxCare provides invaluable exposure to a diverse patient population while offering one-on-one mentorship in a close-knit learning environment.

With 15 years of program history and a robust global alumni network, the fellowship has established itself as a nurturing training ground where fellows develop lasting professional relationships while learning from expert faculty. The program's structure ensures comprehensive clinical experience that fulfills both Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) standards and Core Cardiovascular Training Statement requirements for board certification in echocardiography and nuclear medicine, while maintaining flexibility through a largely elective third year that allows fellows to tailor their training to their career goals.

The fellowship's success is evidenced by its graduates' achievements across clinical practice, academic medicine, and administrative leadership. Fellows benefit from a supportive atmosphere that emphasizes both clinical excellence and leadership development, preparing them for success in whatever path they choose within cardiovascular medicine. This combination of rigorous training, mentorship opportunities, and program flexibility creates well-rounded cardiovascular specialists who are prepared to excel in today's dynamic health care environment.
