Message From the Director

The Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program at Mount Sinai West offers one of the most comprehensive and dynamic training environments in radiology today. The scope of modern radiology is remarkable—from emergency trauma care to preventive screening, from complex diagnoses to innovative image-guided treatments. Each year, the Department of Radiology performs over 1,200,000 exams across multiple locations throughout New York City and the tristate region, offering our residents unparalleled exposure to diverse pathologies and patient populations.

As the largest diagnostic radiology residency training program in New York, we take pride in offering a truly exceptional educational experience. Our residents train across multiple hospital and outpatient settings, working alongside dedicated subspecialty faculty who are leaders in their respective fields. We provide comprehensive training across the full spectrum of care, from primary through tertiary services, including our Level 1 trauma center at Mount Sinai Morningside.

In this rapidly evolving field, we don't just adapt to technological advances—we help drive them. Our collaboration with The Mount Sinai Hospital creates additional opportunities for academic growth and innovation. If you are ready to join us in shaping the future of radiology while building a rock-solid clinical foundation, we welcome the opportunity to show you our program firsthand.
