Your freezer(s) and/or samples can be arranged to be moved by contacting the facility manager Anthony Kelly, who will review the necessary forms to complete, and the space availability, as well as an appropriate date and time to relocate your valuable material.

Our primary facility is located within The Mount Sinai Hospital: Hess building, Floor SC2M, Room 106. Access to the facility is restricted and monitored to secure valuable samples. Coordinating a sample deposit and/or withdrawal is recommended for proper monitoring of the facility.

Yes, our partnership with SciSafe in Cranbury, New Jersey, gives our researchers this alternative. The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai has signed an umbrella agreement to cover storage of all principal investigator-owned freezers with SciSafe. If you plan to move your freezers at the offsite location at SciSafe, please contact Shekhar Patil, PhD, for more details and to provide a charge back fund number.

Yes, a tour of any facility can be coordinated with the manager at an arranged time. The manager and staff will explain the facility’s functions, hours of operation, and answer queries you may have while touring the facility.
