Joseph D. Buxbaum, PhD, Recognized as Genetics Leader

Joseph D. Buxbaum, PhD,  has been recognized with Research.com’s Genetics Leader Award for 2024. Research.com is a leading academic platform. In addition to this award, Research.com also ranks Dr. Buxbaum as the No. 177 genetic scientist in the world, and No. 100 in the United States.

Dr. Buxbaum is Director of the Seaver Autism Center for Research and Treatment at Mount Sinai. Dr. Buxbaum is a Professor of Psychiatry, Genetics and Genomic Sciences, and Neuroscience, and serves as the Vice Chair for Research and Mentoring of the Department of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

The Ranking of Best Scientists in Genetics aims to increase the visibility of leading scientists and the latest discoveries in the field of genetics.
