Master of Science in Health Care Delivery Leadership

The Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai developed its Master of Science in Health Care Delivery Leadership Program to help existing health care professionals attain expanded leadership roles. Unlike other Programs that focus primarily on theory, this Program is offered at the frontlines of health care delivery innovation.

From solving health care delivery issues to navigating the complex health care public policy, the Program prepares you to become a future trailblazer in health care. With mentorship from our esteemed faculty and access to industry experts and alumni, you will be better prepared to lead health care delivery Programs and organizations.

If you are a current health care professional (at least five years of experience), the Health Care Delivery Leadership Program is an excellent choice to enhance your expertise and improve your prospects for career growth. With the skills learned in our Program, you will be able to:

  • Evaluate models and craft strategies that guide health care organizations toward successful changes in policy and management;
  • Judge the quality of health care literature and proposals to critically discern challenges in the translation of theories into practice;
  • Know how to locate, interpret, and apply reliable evidence, both qualitative and quantitative, to organizational problem solving;
  • Analyze the political, financial, competitive, and global aspects of health care organizations;
  • Bridge the worlds of clinical-care medicine and population-based health improvements.
