We seek forward-thinking current and aspiring health care managers and leaders from diverse backgrounds, who want to obtain the knowledge and skills required to provide strategic leadership and effective management within a rapidly changing health care sector.

Our unique educational approach and online learning management system offers you flexibility in completing engaging course work either onsite or online (Hy-Flex) while still working full time. We also provide multiple opportunities for collaborative learning and networking with other program participants, faculty, and health care leaders.

The program involves, on average, 16 hours per week of time dedicated to fulfilling the requirements of the learning experience. Courses are offered in a trimester format (three 12-week terms) with most courses beginning after 5 pm ET.

The program starts in the fall term, during the month of September. Most students take nine credits per term (Fall, Spring 1, Spring 2) and complete the program in two years.

Students in the Health Care Delivery Leadership program are required to have a computer that meets the following specifications:

Mount Sinai has a trusted reputation for developing and implementing innovative practices in health care delivery, which provides a unique basis for teaching and learning.

We welcome multiple applicants from an organization for the Master of Science in Health Care Delivery Leadership program. Not only will organizations benefit from expanding the health care expertise of several employees, but they can also reduce money spent on external consultants and improve retention.

Accepted applicants who are U.S. citizens or eligible residents and are interested in pursuing federal loans must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. As a direct lending institution, we also offer Federal Stafford Loans to students. In addition, all students can consider a monthly payment plan option through our provider, Tuition Management Systems.

Participants often receive tuition subsidization or time off from their employers to complete program work or the applied improvement project (capstone project). The program director can provide additional information to support such requests. Program costs are billed and payable at the start of each trimester for which you are enrolled.

Our 2022-2023 tuition is $2,115 per credit, amounting to $74,025 for the 35 credits needed for degree completion. Tuition and program fees do not include books and subscription materials, travel costs, and room and board for in-person seminar sessions at Icahn Mount Sinai’s New York City campus. In addition to tuition, students are responsible for additional program costs, including:

• $100 application fee
• $500 program fee
• $600 (annual) estimated for texts, books, subscriptions, and supplies
• $125 (annual) student activity fee

We offer a leadership scholarship of up to $1,500 each to all enrollees currently residing within the United States. Any applicant from the United States will be automatically considered; no separate application is required.
