The Center for Advanced Medical Simulation (CAMS) has three fully equipped simulation labs that are staged to look like patient rooms. Each lab has its own control room and computer station that is connected to our centralized audio-visual and learning management system. During a simulation session, participants can be observed through a one-way mirror from each control room, which is also capable of overhead paging and recording. Playback and storage of each simulation session is cloud based and can be accessed by the educator remotely.

CAMS also has two multipurpose rooms located near the lab spaces with comfortable seating for 8-10 people. Both rooms are equipped with ceiling cameras and microphones, a large monitor /projector and a workstation computer. They have the capability of viewing live and pre-recorded simulations, other didactic content, and video conferencing. These rooms are also capable of turning into a flexible learning space that can accommodate hands-on learning experiences such as task training.
