Toni Stern, MD, MS, MBA

Dr. Stern is Vice Chair of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science System, Clinical Transformation and Chief Patient Experience Officer, and Senior Faculty at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Dr. Stern received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, and completed her residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. She earned her Master of Science in Management from New York University Wagner Graduate School of Public Service in New York, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Wagner College in Staten Island, NY.

Dr. Stern is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology as well as health care quality and management. She is a Diplomate of both the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians. She is also a certified physician executive of the American Association for Physician Leadership. Dr. Stern is a Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Dr. Stern is actively involved with the Blavatnik Family Women’s Health Research Institute, focusing on the evaluation of obstetric and gynecologic health inequities among medically underserved, and racial and ethnic minority groups.
