The Financial Conflicts of Interest in Research (FCOIR) training course can be found on CITI Program. Before Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai investigators and key personnel complete their eDMS Disclosure Profile, all investigators and members of the research staff must take the mandatory Financial Conflicts of Interest in Research education module via CITI Program.
Access Instructions
- Open CITI Program
- Please ensure your CITI Program profile is affiliated with Mount Sinai to access the appropriate education modules for this institution.
- Select “Add a Course” under “Learner Tools for Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai”
- A quiz will open to be completed—please complete and select “yes” to adding the Financial Interest in Research Disclosure Course in Question #9.
- Once the training module is complete, CITI Program automatically generates a certificate, and the completion date is sent to eDMS
Recertification is required every four years.
Note: Please add your Mount Sinai email address and life number to your CITI Program institutional profile so that your certification date is added to your project in eDMS.
